Just hours after the reported leak of the specs of Sony's upcoming tablet, the Sony Xperia Z4 Tablet Ultra, rumors all around the Internet have been steadily circulating. All this rumors however points to a single undeniable fact, Sony's Xperia Z4 Tablet Ultra is a "monster."
The tablet boasts a 12.9inch display that can support up to 3840 x 2400 screen resolution. Underneath its fantastic screen size lurks the real monster. A 2.86 GHz Snapdragon 810 processor with two DDR4 3GB RAM and a built-in 64GB of storage. Reports also say that an HDMI port will be available. A 4K video camera that can record videos up to 30frame-per-second is also reported to be included and a massive 12,100mAh battery. To give it a close comparison, the iPad Air 2 only has a battery power of 7,340mAh. The most surprising of all this revelation is that Sony has managed to put all this specs together in a tablet that is only 8.6 mm thick!
With all these specifications, although Sony has not confirmed it through an official statement, it is clear take the smartphone and tablet market will see a new level of competition. By managing to put all this high-end specs in just one machine it is clearly a good sign that Sony is bringing their game right into Apple and Samsung's doorstep, their closest rivals.
With all this hype being thrown in a single device, Sony has surely some big expectation to fulfill. Rumors predict that Sony will be announcing its new product very soon. A lot of speculations are saying that Sony has plans to unveil this newest offering on CES 205.
CES is the world's largest trade show for groundbreaking technologies in the field of electronic products like TV, tablets and smartphones. CES 2015 will see the unveiling of many tech products like the Asus Intel-powered LTE smartphones. HTC is also expected to unveil it first ever wearable electronic device. Huawei's Ascend Mate also has its American debut on the said event.
