Fresh off a spectacular show in Singapore just last week, Asia's largest mixed martial arts organization, ONE Championship is hitting mainland China this Saturday for ONE: Dynasty of Champions in partnership with Wujie.
This is the second event to be held in Beijing after a successful first foray into the country last year.
ONE Championship and Wujie have just inked a recent partnership to work closely together in bringing 26 major mixed martial arts events to mainland China in a two-year period. The promotion has already held shows in Beijing and Shanghai, and the response has been phenomenal.
ONE: Dynasty of Champions is headlined by a ONE Featherweight World Championship unification bout between incumbent champion Narantungalag Jadambaa of Mongolia and interim champ Marat "Cobra" Gafurov of Russia.
The two fighters are both unbeaten inside the ONE Cage, with Jadambaa owning two sensational victories, one over Filipino featherweight standout Honorio "The Rock" Banario and Koji Oishi of Japan.
Gafurov on the other hand is 12-0, unbeaten as a professional mixed martial artist, and is 3-0 for ONE Championship. His three victories in the promotion so far have all come by submission, as he has quickly gained a reputation for being a very dangerous grappler.
Gafurov defeated Martin Nguyen a little over a month ago to capture the interim ONE Featherweight World Championship belt. Not content with a portion of the title, Gafurov seeks to unify the belts with a win over Jadambaa this weekend.
ONE: Dynasty of Champions takes place on Saturday, November 21 at the Olympic Sports Center Gymnasium in Beijing and will also feature the Beijing Featherweight Tournament II.
Also on the card will be Adriano "Mikinho" Moraes defending his ONE Flyweight World Championship belt against undefeated superstar Kairat Akhmetov.
After Beijing, ONE Championship moves on to Phnom Penh on December 5 for ONE: Kingdom of Khmer and then to Manila on December 11 for ONE: Spirit of Champions.
