Manny Pacquiao vs Timothy Bradley

The boxing world continues to ask the nagging question: Who will Manny Pacquiao fight next?

While it's probably not the biggest draw, Timothy Bradley's name popped up again after he knocked out mutual foe Brandon Rios.

Apparently, it was more about the trainers' feud. Bradley's trainer is Teddy Atlas, former ESPN boxing analyst and known Pacquiao critic.

When Bradley's name was mentioned in the list of possible opponents for his prized ward, Roach reacted (h/t Yahoo Sports) and the sarcasm was not so subtle.

"Oh, Bradley?" Roach said. "We'll fight him tomorrow."

"Even though he has the greatest coach in the world, we're not afraid of him," Roach said. "They better bring more than a [expletive] fireman to the fight."

This was in reference to Atlas' "speech" after the seventh round of the match against Rios, as transcribed by Yahoo.

""Your concentration is weaving a little bit," Atlas told Bradley. "Pick it up. Pick it up. PICK IT UP! No going straight at him. Bend your knees and be strong on the inside and go around him. Let's control the outside. Look, the fire is coming. Are you ready for the fire? Because we're firemen. WE ARE FIREMEN! The heat doesn't bother us! We live in the heat. We train in the heat. That tells us we're ready. We're at home. We're where we are supposed to be. Flames don't intimidate us. What do we do? We control the flames. WE CONTROL THEM! We move the flames where we want to, and then we extinguish them."

Roach ran through the possible opponents of Pacquiao. He was not giddy about Amir Khan as he compared him to Terence Crawford. He would rather have Crawford as he will "fight a little bit more" and Amir will "run a little bit more."

There is still no reaction from Freddie Roach on the possibility of Canelo fighting Pacquiao obviously because he is also the trainer of Miguel Cotto. Roach boldly predicted that Cotto would be the first to KO Canelo.
