U.S. President Barack Obama is photographed speaking about Medicare in a conference.

In a recent interview, United States President Barack Obama revealed his favorite "Game of Thrones" character.

In a GQ magazine interview, HBO's Bill Simmons asked President Obama what his guiltiest-pleasure TV show is. Simmons said, "Don't say Game of Thrones."

Obama answered "Big Break" of Golf Channel. Later on, he added, "I do love Game of Thrones."

When asked which character he identifies with, the president said, "The dwarf." Simmons told him that the dwarf is Peter Dinklage's character Tyrion Lannister.

Obama admitted he does not remember the names of the characters in "Game of Thrones," but he does remember what they are so he gets to follow the story when watching the episodes. He said it is when he reads episode reviews after the show that he becomes confused with character names, especially when fans start to mention a whole lot of them.

On the other hand, Obama remembers Jon Snow because he said he could pronounce the name of the character played by Kit Harington.

According to Vanity Fair, the commander in chief does not only remember Jon Snow, he also knows of his death in the season finale, a proof that he watches the series. He even asked "Game of Thrones" director David Nutter when they met just after the finale, "You didn't kill Jon Snow, did you?" Nutter then replied that Kit Harington's character is "deader than dead".

Simmon's last question related to "Game of Thrones" was about which character the president thinks is Donald Trump. To this, Obama said he does not think that any of them rise to that level, which some interpret as evading the question while managing a subtle attack at Trump.
