Wolfsburg players huddle during a recent Champions League match against Manchester United.

Third-running team VfL Wolfsburg (6-3-3, 21 points) will look to bounce back from a rare loss as they face lowly club Werder Bremen (4-7-1, 13 points), who are coming off a win, at the Volkswagen Arena on Saturday, November 21st.

Wolfsburg's three-game winning run was halted as they were blanked by Mainz, 0-2, at the Coface Arena on November 7th, as per ESPN.

Die Wölfe midfielder Julian Draxler was sent off right at the 13th minute after accidentally kicking Mainz defender Gonzalo Jara's head, putting Dieter Hecking's men at an early one-man disadvantage.

From there Die Nullfünfer took advantage as forward Pablo De Blasis and midfielder Yunus Malli netted a goal each at the 31st and 75th to give the Wolves their third taste of defeat in the season.

Meanwhile, Bremen defeated bottom-dweller FC Augsburg, 2-1, at the SGL Arena on November 8th to snag their second win in three games, via Soccerway.

Veteran Peruvian striker Claudio Pizarro scored the opening goal at the 58th before German midfielder Fin Bartel added another one at the 69th for Viktor Skrypnyk's squad. Fuggerstädter team captain Paul Verhaegh scored a goal in injury time as consolation for Markus Weinzierl's side.

The Wolves are projected to blank the Green-Whites in this matchup, barring another early red card call to one of its key players.

The prediction is Wolfsburg over Werder Bremen, 2-0.
