The proposed Nov. 11 release date of Xiaomi Mi5 turned out to be false once again, paving way for yet another set of rumors regarding the features and specifications of the phone. According to recent reports, Xiaomi Mi 5 will not employ Qualcomm Snapdragon 820 processor, which is due to the growing differences between Qualcomm and Xiaomi.

Although Xiaomi Mi 5 has been spotted employing Qualcomm chip during each test, on the long run, Xiaomi might end of employing MediaTek chip instead. According to recent reports by a Chine Publication My Drivers, the amount charged by Qualcomm for the use of its chips seems to be too high for Xiaomi to handle, which is said could be the main reason that paved way to end their association with Qualcomm.

The smartphone company is famous in Chinese market and other Eastern countries for the features and specification it exhibits that stands almost similar to iPhone. If recent reports are to be believed, Xiaomi works under a business plan that causes them loss, although they manage their share through the software market.

Other mobile manufacturing companies like Samsung declined the use of Qualcomm 810 in their gadgets, while reports were rounding that Xiaomi Mi 5 will employ the same processor rather than choosing an alternative.

Xiaomi Mi 5 is expected to share 5.3-inch QHD display that runs in 4GB of RAM plus 16MP front snapper. Also, Xiaomi took another step in their business by introducing the model for sale in China's single day - largest shopping day instead of officially announcing its launch.
