Jawbone UP3

Christmas will surely add some unwanted fats to your body and this may be the reason why some Jawboners placed an early order for the much awaited Jawbone UP3. However, bad news to everyone as the Jawbone UP3 will most likely not make it to Christmas season, Mashable reports.

If we are to recall it, Jawbone UP3 was first announced in November with an unspecified date as its launched date.  The new generation activity tracker, successor to Jawbone UP24, opened its pre-orders on Nov. 7 with an estimated 6-7 weeks shipping date; however, weeks after, it was changed to an estimated 8-9 weeks delivery date. This change made some Jawboners frustrated as they can't really wait to get their hands on this high-end fitness tracker wearable.

Good news though to those who have placed their pre-order. Jawbone offered $40 credit or a free UP Move, in which typically costs $50, to compensate for its delay, Techcrunch reported.

The successor of Jawbone Up24 is packed with a high-end feature that can distinguish different kinds of exercises, from swimming to running. It can also better assess your calorie range. Jawbone UP3 is also equipped to track sleeping whether you are in a light or deep sleep. It also has a built-in multi sensor and can indicate the over-all heart health.

Some of its rivals were said to be on the same position as Fitbit cancelled its new trackers - Fitbit Surge and Charge HR. Apple will not also launch its Apple Watch with fitness tracking capability until 2015.

Jawbone UP3 will be available in the market come early 2015 priced at $179.99 in the US and £149.99 in the UK.
