The largest sports media property in Asian history, ONE Championship announced its return to The Kingdom with another thrilling night of world-class mixed martial arts action.
ONE: Kingdom of Khmer is set to electrify the Koh Pich Theatre on December 5, bringing excitement back into the heart of Cambodia.
"ONE Championship continues its dedication to cultivating the sport of mixed martial arts in The Kingdom with another adrenaline-filled night of fights!" said ONE Championship CEO, Victor Cui.
"Our last event in Phnom Penh was such a huge success, and it was truly an honor to witness the crowd cheering for our ONE Championship superstars," he added.
ONE Championship held their first event in Phnom Penh in September of last year. It was a mild success. More importantly, it signified efforts made by ONE Championship to further cultivate the growth of mixed martial arts in the region, something ONE, like no other MMA promotion in the world, has successfully been able to do over the past few years.
ONE: Kingdom of Khmer will headline with undefeated Hawaiian lightweight standout Lowen Tynanes, who has impressed in his time so far inside the ONE Cage.
A ferocious young lion, Tynanes boasts of world-class wrestling ability paired with absolutely relentless aggression, which has resulted in a handful of highlight-reel finishes.
His next challenge is a tough one, against grappling ace, Rasul Yakhyaev.
The Russian Yakhyaev is a lightweight star in his homeland where he's racked up a stellar record of nine wins with only two defeats.
He is adept in both striking and mat techniques, and is considered a solid prospect with tremendous potential. With grappling as his fortitude, Yakhyaev makes his highly-anticipated ONE Championship debut.
Also on the card is Anatpong Bunrad who is currently on a three-fight win streak, defeating the highly regarded Geje Eustaquio in his latest appearance inside the ONE Cage.
ONE Championship is in Beijing tonight with ONE: Dynasty of Champions II, followed by this event in Phnom Penh, which will be followed by the ONE Championship's year ender in Manila.
Recently, ONE inked a partnership with major company, Wujie, to work closely together to put up 26 shows in mainland China over a two-year period. The more events ONE has, the more opportunities open up for fighters looking to make a living inside the ONE Cage.
