Forget 12-inch Retina MacBook, iPad Air 2: Apple’s iPad Pro Has Impressive Features; Smart Keyboard & Apple Pencil Delays Disillusion Fans

Apple Inc. finally released the iPad Pro to its retailers and resellers last week after months of waiting.

The released iPad Pro sports a 12.9-inch screen with the highest screen resolution Retina display compared to other iOS gadgets. The iPad Pro can do 4K video editing in addition to business presentations.

Apart from the stunning display, the new device has an interior powerhouse. The iPad Pro is powered by the third generation chip, A9X, which promises up to 1.8 times better CPU functionality and twice the graphic performance of the iPad Air 2.

According to a review by Ars Technica, the new tablet's chip outperforms other Apple devices like the 12-inch Retina MacBook, iPad Air 2, and the recently released iPhones and iPads.

While the new iPad Pro failed to outclass the performance of the 2015 MacBook Air, Microsoft's Surface Pro 4, and Intel's Broadwell and Skylake U-processors, it has an impressive GPU performance, according to Mac Rumors. Furthermore, the device gave better graphic outputs than the 2015 15-inch Retina MacBook Pro with the Iris 5200 graphics.

Besides it power, the new iPad Pro sports a slim and lightweight design, measuring just 6.9mm thick and 1.57 pounds. The device also has portability with the new Smart Keyboard that can be detached or attached in the same the Surface lineup works. Apple's iPad Pro supports the Apple Pencil that promises a natural feel and responsiveness.

Currently, Apple is experiencing huge orders for both LTE and Wi-Fi models. However, users are disillusioned because they have to wait for up to five more weeks for the delivery of the Smart Keyboard and Apple Pencil. Buyers expect both the device and accessories to be shipped at the same time.
