Gone are the days when you had to patiently wait for Cyber Mondays and Black Fridays for the best deals on your favorite products. This year saw a new trend: Cyber week, a whole week full of great discounts! Apple jumped in the sale wagon, too, with whopping price cuts on the iPad Mini and iPad Air.
The iPad Air was offered for up to $129 less, for the whole week. Big retailers such as Walmart, Staples, Best Buy as well as Amazon were out with best deals on store cards (which provides discounts on other products so you can get another gift). Other small out-of-the-radar retailers had great offers too. Apple themselves were offering iTunes gift cards!
Apple was at its benevolence best, along with iPad Air, it offered iPad Mini 2 and Mini 3 at a huge price cut. Buy flaunted enormous $100 off on iPad Air 2 16BG, eBay had an offer of 20% off. MacMall gave 40% discount on iPad Air 2 16GB version. 64GB and 128GB models were priced at $500 and $600 respectively, at Best Buy. The offers were equally tempting at smaller retailers. Walmart went forth with price cuts only on iPad Air, offered at $397. But it also offered a gift card worth $100 to the store.
iPad Mini 3 16BG was available at $325 at Best Buy, at Target you could save $60 on the iPad Mini without a Retina display. There were many deals available with free gift cards. Retailers were out and about early but Apple chose to be the last to give the treat: a mighty and delicious deal that all horded to grab. Such huge array of discounts required efficient comparisons, but the entire week was enough time don't you think? Long live cyber weeks!
