‘The Walking Dead’ Season 6 Filming Spoilers: Jesus Meets Daryl Dixon And Rick Grimes

"The Walking Dead" season 6 fans have been speculating that cast member Norman Reedus is not happy to share the spotlight with new cast member Jeffrey Dean Morgan.

Just recently, it was confirmed that Morgan will play the role of the villainous character Negan.

However, in a recent interview with IGN, Reedus slammed rumors that he's not happy or is threatened by Morgan's casting.

"It's a big deal. It's a really big deal. I can say that I've known Jeffrey for 15 years. He has his own style, his own flavor, and he's such a talented actor and has his own personality that whatever he does he brings to and he hits it out of the park," he said.

Reedus, who plays the role of Daryl Dixon on the hit AMC show, further explained why he believes Morgan is the only one who could really give justice to Negan's character.

"The thing about casting characters for this show is they can just be a good actor. They need to fit here in this world with us making this show, they have to come to Georgia, they have to fit in this machine. That's on a character level, that's on a personality level, that's on work ethic level - they have to fit. Knowing Jeffrey, he fits perfectly, and I think that he will knock this role right out of the park," he said.

Meanwhile, it is still unclear when exactly Negan will appear on "The Walking Dead." Fans believe that this could happen during the second half of the show.

"The Walking Dead" season 6 airs Sundays on AMC.
