The Carolina Panthers (10-0) are looking invincible at the moment, but they are in for a fight as the team travels to the AT&T Stadium on November 26, Thursday for a Week 12 meeting with the Dallas Cowboys (3-7), who now have their two premier offensive players, Tony Romo and Dez Bryant, back together again after a recent bout with injuries.
Carolina demolished the Washington Redskins, 44-16, at the Bank of America Stadium on Sunday as quarterback Cam Newton threw five touchdowns, as reported by NBC Washington.
Newton passed 21-of-34 for 246 yards with no interceptions and two sacks for a high QBR of 92.9 and rating of 123.3. His case for this year's MVP had gone considerably up after his superb performance.
Meanwhile, the Cowboys are back to their winning form as Pro-Bowl quarterback Romo, who broke his collarbone during Week 2, returned and completed two touchdown passes en route to a 24-14 victory over the Miami Dolphins in Week 11, via the Miami Herald.
Pro-Bowl wideout Bryant was the recipient of one of Romo's two scoring passes while fellow wide receiver Terrance Williams was the other one.
The Panthers are likely in for a high-scoring affair with Dallas' offense now in full force, as the latter is also projected to hand Newton and his crew their first loss this season.
Prediction: Cowboys win, 35-31.
