It is reported that a new Android Exploit can completely hack customers’ security system.

Are your most important secrets safe in smartphones? Be it confidential business data, contact information, financial details and even your photos, the fact is that they are not secured in one's smartphones.

Before these information falls into the wrong hands, you must ensure all the data has been securely erased. But for most of us, factory reset will do the act, but that is not the case.

It is said that Avasta security software was able to pull through important data like the searches, contact information and other vital details from android phones they bought from eBay.

According to them, the factory reset will not completely wipe out the data instead it deletes all the addresses of your data. So it's easy for someone to use the recovery software to pull up such significant information; however, you can wipe out the data safely by following the steps:

Encrypt phone

Make sure your phone is charged fully then go to Settings->Security->Encrypt phone. Option of encrypting the SD card is also there. You will be guided by the process.

Factory Reset

Ensure that you have taken the back up of the required things.

Settings -> Back Up and Reset->Factory Data Reset and after that tap reset phone. The phone will be completely wiped off and any data that could be uncovered cannot be decoded to original. If you wish to ascertain, the encrypted data can be overwritten with Junk data and perform another factory reset. This makes sure that no one can recover the data completely.
