"I've never sexted anyone in my life except Anderson," revealed recently named Joan Rivers' "Fashion Police" replacement Kathy Griffin, 54, in an interview with Philip Galanes of New York Times. "I can't resist. I just know he's going to be so..."

It was CNN's "Anderson Cooper 360" host Anderson Cooper, 47, who arrived first during the interview. The Emmy-winning television journalist told the interviewer Griffin was very concerned about what he was going to wear at the time.

Cooper then showed a text from Griffin that read, "Don't embarrass me," along with her full-frontal nude selfie with a bright red apple covering her most private part.

"Stop talking without me!" Griffin said upon arriving.

During the interview, Cooper revealed that Griffin sexted him one time while he was on air in the middle of election night coverage for 10 hours.

"I had very serious rug burns," Griffin explained why she sent Cooper a text that read, "I was with David Gergen last night. This is what I look like today" with a photo of the lower half of her body exposed at the time.

Griffin then said that she did not really spend a night with the political commentator. She said got the rug burns when she made a Britney Spears show in Las Vegas, where she played the "I'm A Slave 4 U" singer's slave.

Cooper and Griffin are set to host the "New Year's Eve Live" celebration on CNN for the eighth year in a row.

Griffin's "My Life On The D-List" won Primetime Emmy's Outstanding Reality Program in 2007 and 2008 while Cooper was nominated Outstanding Talk Show Host by Daytime Emmy twice but lost to Regis Philbin and Kelly Ripa in 2012 and to Ricki Lake in 2013.
