Black Panther in Civil War trailer

The "Captain America: Civil War" trailer has dropped and it's time to play "in case you missed it."

When the trailer drops, more clues emerge and some theories may be corroborated or debunked. In a two and a half minute trailer, some scenes may be taken out of context, but it was noticeable that Captain America's team had tough odds and that's why they were more "united."

A trailer was meant to be dissected and What Culture took note of this detail in the trailer.

"It's clear that Black Widow and War Machine are going to be taking Stark's side, while Black Panther is at least fighting against Bucky even if he has no interest in the war between Iron Man and Cap."

This seems like a key detail here in light of a previous theory that Black Panther will remain "neutral" according to no less than Kevin Feige as he mentioned in Super Hero Hype.

"In the case of 'Civil War,' we needed a third party," Feige said. "We needed a character who wasn't on either Captain America or Iron Man's side, which is why we went, 'You know what? We're doing a Black Panther movie, but it would actually be smart to have him fill this role we need in Civil War and introduce him here first.'"

But that would be strange because Black Panther was in the promo pictures as part of Iron Man's team and he was fighting Bucky/Winter Soldier. The explanation could be from a theory put forth by Heroic Hollywood.

It stated that T'Challa (Black Panther) is on a personal mission of revenge over the death of his father. Apparently, the Winter Soldier was responsible (while he was still brainwashed).

Black Panther would appear to be on Tony Stark's side, but he simply wants his father's assassin to be held accountable.

May 6, 2016 could not come any sooner. Let's see if this is one theory that holds true.
