Captain America and Iron Man will clash in Joe Russo and Anthony Russo’s upcoming Marvel film “Captain America: Civil War.”

The trailer of "Captain America: Civil War" has been released on Nov. 24, Tuesday, containing details that are essential to the plot of the film.

Black Panther (Chadwick Boseman) debuted in the trailer with the return of a familiar character from "The Incredible Hulk" along with the appearance of a thick white document purportedly related to the Superhuman Registration Act in the comic books.

In an interview with Empire, "Captain America: Civil War" directors Joe Russo and Anthony Russo revealed some background details found in the trailer. Here are three of the things they pointed out:

1. Black Panther will be on Tony Stark's side come "Civil War", but according to the directors, his motivation for going against Cap's team is very different from Tony Stark's.

2. Bruce Banner's archnemesis, General Thaddeus Thunderbolt, from the 2008 "Incredible Hulk" film returns. Notably, Mark Ruffalo's Hulk will be absent in this film because he is set to appear in a cosmic adventure in "Thor: Ragnarok." The Russo brothers explained that Ross' return is no coincidence and explained that they thought it best to add a character that had a fanatical anti-superhero point of view.

3. The thick white document is called The Accords. It is MCU's version of the Superhuman Registration Act found in the comics. The Accords is the world's manifestation of wanting to regulate the Avengers initiative moving forward given the amount of destruction caused in the previous Avengers instalments.

In a separate interview with Hypable, the "Captain America: Civil War" directors  hinted that that the film will be driven towards mature storytelling.

"Captain America: Civil War" opens on May 6, 2016. Watch the trailer here:
