Microsoft Reveals Shocking Windows Phone Usage Statistics: Low-Memory Lumia Devices Score On App Downloads

Microsoft has largely emphasized on the high-end devices and the surprising fact is that the monthly mobile usage statistics revealed by the Washington Based research company Redmond showcased a different truth.

According to Microsoft, 71% of the downloaded apps were initialized from so-called 'low memory' Lumia devices. It ought to be mentioned that the most popular Lumia gadget - Nokia Lumia 520 has just 512 MB of RAM.   

The statistics signifies that when it comes to the top ten popular devices to download apps, a rack of seven different models of Windows handsets carrying low-memory are listed. Regarding this fact and analysis Microsoft has decided to keep the apps requirement within the range of these popular phones.

However the highest grossing in-app purchase come with a decent price tag.  The in-app purchase include price tags of $4.99, $9.99 and $19.99, which don't belong to low price point side at all.
