Apple Inc. has announced that they would have the 12 days annual gifts promotion this year. This incident in the company's history is happening for the first time in eight years. The 12 days gift scheme package has been a regular annual arrangement for the Apple fans and users. The long tradition was introduced in US last year whereas UK users were lucky to enjoy the gifts for the past eight years.

The promotional scheme was started in the United States last year and in its launch year, there were numerous complaints by the users about the poor quality of the gifts. They expected better and more functional promotional gifts than the ones that were handed out to them. However, they would have nothing to complain, as the promotion isn't running this year at all.

Recent posts from the company have confirmed that this year Apple will not initiate the promotional celebration. Therefore, there would be no gifts and surprise packages for the iPhone and iPad users this year. The 12 days promotional gifts from Apple consisted of official standalone apps and free gifts including songs, games, apps, books and movies. The festival used to last from Boxing Day to next year's Jan 6. The move by the company has surprised the tech experts, as Apple has been running holiday season sales promotions for quite awhile. According to the tech experts, this the wrapping of traditional act will surely affect the Christmas sale promotion.

As Apple Watch is about to be released, so the discontinuation of the promotional gifts might hit the company with negative impact as Apple has not initiated or announced any backup plans or yearly surprise for the fans this year. However, things can turn out differently as the release of Apple Watch might overshadow the whole issue.
