Apple Japan Launches Lucky Bag Promotion; Pricing Yet to be Revealed

The promotion of Apple's Lucky Bags started in Japan on Friday. The retail package of the gift includes worth hundreds of dollars savings. The offer was published in detail in the corresponding company website citing several terms and conditions.

The other formal festivities regarding the New Year celebration and will kick off from Jan 2, next year. Many of the Japanese Apple Stores are preparing the quest for successfully launching the new Lucky Bags promotion offers.

The Lucky Bags event is known as Fukubukuro in Japanese that has popular and expensive items. However, as the name says customers have to be lucky enough to win the best items. The package is sealed and there is no provision to check what's inside. Nothing to worry about as the company spokesperson assures that the gifts would be valuable and pleasing for the customer and will always be worth more than what the price customer paid.

Reviewing last years' statistics, Apple managed to promote four of the different Lucky Bags and each of them used to cost around $343 or 36,000 Japanese yen. The pricing of this year's Fukubukuro bag or the Lucky Bag has not been declared by the company but like previous year this year some of the bags might contain 11-inch MacBook, iPad Air or the iPad Mini.

The customers are allowed to go for one bag per day and the products can be returned only, if it is defective. Last year the successful campaign led the initiators to launch the Lucky Bag offering this year again. And if everything goes according to plan, the festival will kick off from 8a.m. Jan 2, 2015. 

In other news, Apple canceled its 12-days of Gift Holiday Promo in the UK and US due to the impending launch of Apple Watch.
