French device maker Withings never fails it consumers to manufacture exquisite fitness and tracking wearables. Withings Activite is said to be a pricey chic smartwatch that is equipped with quite interesting features, in which, has an edge against its competitors; however, since some cannot afford to shell out $450 for a fitness tracker just like Activite, the French maker announced during CES 2015 its much affordable fitness device called Activite Pop priced at $149.95 in the U.S. and £119.95 in the U.K., The Verge reported.
Activite Pop is just like its predecessor that has a big Analog clock and a secondary clock which is available in azure (blue), shark grey (grey) and sand (beige) with an estimated 8 months for its battery life span.
Pop is comparable to a regular watch such from Casio and Timex though smarter and powerful - looks can be deceiving as others would say. Good thing about the wearable is it's also waterproof to 98 feet or 30 meters, Mashable reported.
Withings Activite Pop may be in a lower price mark but it works the same as its predecessor. It can track your swimming, your sleep and your steps though you don't need to change its strap unlike the original Activite. The new version is controlled by an iOS application called HealthMate app that is able to differentiate whether the user is in a light sleep or deep sleep.
The charming wearable will be launched on March and is planned for a limited release via Best Buy and Harrods, Wareable reported.
