Kylie Jenner was slammed heavily for posing in a wheelchair for the cover of Interview Magazine.
While the provocative cover shows the reality TV star in a gilded wheelchair dressed in shiny black bustier, a choker and high heels, several inside pictures show her stiff along with a blank expression that makes her resemble a sex doll.
While the sexualized images created a stir, it is the wheelchair shot that is drawing huge intense backlash.
"People with disabilities are already seen as powerless, and this just reinforces that," Paul K. Longmore Institute on Disability associate director Emily Smith Beitiks told CNN.
There have been several backlash messages on social media as well with the most intense reactions coming from people who reported being discriminated against because of their disability.
"@KylieJenner wow being in a wheelchair is so fun and fashionable! #Ableism is the ultimate fashion statement," tweeted 17-year-old Ophelia Brown along with a picture showing her in her chair next to the the image of Jenner.
Meanwhile, it is revealed that Kylie never wanted her father Caitlyn Jenner and mother Kris Jenner to attend her 18th birthday bash. The revelation is made on "Keeping Up With The Kardashians" new teaser in which the teenager told Caitlyn categorically that she wanted to celebrate her milestone birthday only with her friends.
"I've been thinking about it. I was just gonna do something with my friends," replied the teenager when Caitlyn quizzed her on her plans about her 18th birthday and even offered her place to have the bash.
Kylie later confessed to camera that although she wanted both her mom and dad at her party, she knew that they were still struggling with their relationship and she did not want any "Mom-Dad" drama in her party.
However, both Caitlyn and Kris reportedly made it to Kylie's birthday bash that happened at The Nice Guy in Los Angeles, along with other family members including Kim Kardashian, Kendall Jenner, Khloe and Kourtney Kardashian. Kylie's rapper-boyfriend Tyga was also present at the party along with 300 other guests, People reported.
