The price of the smallest action camera of GoPro, the Hero4 Session, has gone down to $199. The firm dropped the price from the original $399. At $199, it is the same price as a lower-end Hero+ plus.

The more affordable price does not come with 4K video or an LCD, notes Engadget. The camera is as small as an ice cube and weighs only 2.6 ounces, according to PCMag.

Nick Woodman, CEO and founder of GoPro, said in a statement, "The waterproof Hero4 Session is so durable and easy to use ... It's the perfect way to capture rough-and-tumble family activities this holiday season." He adds that the footage, from snowball fights to snowboarding, would look so immersive that viewers would feel like they are reliving the moment.

The camera is waterproof up to 33 feet. It is compatible with other GoPro accessories such as helmet, chest, board, bike, gear and pole mounts. The Hero4 Session is capable of capturing wide-angle 1080p60 video and 8-megapixel photos.

It features built-in Bluetooth and Wi-Fi that allows the user to connect its app and use a smartphone to video, edit and share images taken from the Hero4 Session. The camera has been noted by PCMag to have a low-profile design, great video quality and waterproofing without being bulky.
