Bill Cosby finally gave a successful performance and received a standing ovation from the Canadian audience in his latest gig in Canada. Bill Cosby had many haters who were belittling him on many social media platforms for coming in the news for sexual harassment charges from more than 15 women.
And not only social media platforms, protestors also shouted slogans outside the show before and when it was taking place in Canada. These protestors are likely to show the same amount of hatred in the below-freezing weather of Canada when Bill Cosby performs at another gig in Ontario on Jan. 8, Thursday.
Most of Cosby's tours and gigs have faced vast criticism and cancellations following the allegations against the performer. But some managers kept the show going, as they did not want to be non-compliant towards the producers of the show as well as the event management contract.
Cosby was obviously overwhelmed by the standing ovation of the crowd in Canada and says that he is feeling very happy right now as he still has many loyal fans who are supporting him in his darkest time.
Cosby is 77-year-old and has been a comedian his whole life having started his career in 1981. He has a huge fan following as people simply love his sense of humor. Fans at the concert also defended him saying that he is the father of comedy.
Although Cosby still has many loyal followers, more than half have turned against him and have either cancelled their tickets or are selling them online.
