Saint West: Kim Kardashian West, Kanye West's Son

After a long period of waiting, "Keeping Up With the Kardashians" star Kim Kardashian West and her rapper husband Kanye West revealed the name of their baby boy.

Kim and Kanye named their second child "Saint West," which Kim wrote on Twitter on Dec. 8. The "Keeping Up With the Kardashians" star also revealed that Saint's birth weight was eight pounds and an ounce.

Over the summer, rumors surfaced that Kim and Kanye considered naming their son Easton. Also, there were rumors sayin that South West was a possibility; however, it did not become an option.

In her interview with NPR, Kim said that she did not like South West, since North would always be better and had a better direction. She added that they would go with another direction. Previously, expressed their happiness as proud parent for their second child, as Kim wrote their welcome message on her website.

In her previous interview with Glamour magazine, Kim said that she had not known that she had been going to be so open with her fertility challenges. The "Keeping Up With the Kardashians" star added that she had considered sharing her story, which she described as "really emotional," after meeting people who were also going through the same things she was going through.

In the same interview, Kim revealed that her second baby was breech. After she underwent a procedure, which she viewed as "more painful than childbirth," the baby was moved into a proper position for delivery. 

Kim did not have a Caesarian section when she gave birth to Saint. At the moment, she is visited by her family members at the Los Angeles Hospital, including Kris Jenner, after the former gave birth to their baby boy. She remained at the hospital with their Saint on Dec. 6.
