Android Marshmallow Update Rolling Out To Samsung Galaxy Note 5 and Galaxy S6

According to latest reports, the electronics maker Samsung is rolling out the Android Marshmallow update to Galaxy Note 4.

The Android Marshmallow (build number -  N910FXXU1DOL3X) has been released to Note 4 (SM-N910F) in Hungary, GSMArena reported.

Galaxy Note 4 users getting the update notifications should select the Yes, Download option and after downloading they should choose Install now. The handset will restart automatically and the operating system will be updated to the new version.

It is important to keep in mind that the process of roll-out is being carried out in stages, therefore, it will take some weeks to reach all Galaxy Note 4 owners.

Galaxy Note 4 owners can check manually on their handset by going to - Settings > About phone > System update > Check Now.

The Android Marshmallow brings new features such as Doze for improving battery performance and Google Now on Tap. In addition, App permissions, App links, Fingerprint support and Automatic backup and restore are some of the other features of Android Marshmallow.

According to a PC-Tablet report, the owners of Samsung Galaxy Note 5 will get the Android Marshmallow update in December. Furthermore, Samsung devices such as Galaxy S6, Galaxy S6 Edge and Galaxy S6 Edge Plus will get the Android Marshmallow update in January next year.

Meanwhile, after soak tests in Korea and Poland, the LG G4 Android Marshmallow update has started seeding to owners across Europe. Many owners have reported getting the Android Marshmallow update to their devices.

The Android 6.0 M update is believed to be rolling out across Europe; however, many of the owners who have the update are from Germany.
