Gossip and speculations have been circulating around the Web on what to expect in the season four of "Orange is the Next Black." But here's the real thing happening to the newest season, the creator of "Mad Men" is on board to direct the series.
Jenji Kohan, the creator of "Orange is the New Black," had always been friends with "Mad Men" creator Matthew Weiner for some time now. Hence, Kohan has handed the new project to Weiner after the successful run of "Mad Men." As per The Hollywood Reporter, this is the very first project the director will be handling which actually he did not write. He is in good hands though being surrounded with big names in the movie industry, like Nicole Holofcener, Allison Anders and Jodie Foster. He definitely heads the upcoming Netflix series.
Filming of the episode was already ongoing by the time The Hollywood Reporter wrote the story. A reliable source says the 50-year old writer, producer and director was passionate on the set. Actress Laura Prepon reveals this sentiment in the November 17 InStyle Gold Globes soiree/Hollywood Foreign Press Association.
Prepon continues to say that they started filming the whole day of Sunday. Many directors could have wished they had the part, but the director looked natural and claimed he can handle all things then. "Orange is The Next Black" has a huge cast, and with Matthew Weiner as the director, everything is expected to flow smoothly. The 35-year old actress states that she enjoys being with this awesome director; however, she did not reveal more details about the episode as she can get into much trouble.
