The Tennessee Titans (3-9) face another tough challenge as they travel to the MetLife Stadium to play the New York Jets (7-5) on Sunday, December 13 as the 2015 NFL season continues.
Tennessee finally snapped their 11-game home slide when they defeated division rival Jacksonville Jaguars, 42-39, at the Nissan Stadium last Sunday, as reported by USA Today.
This year's second overall selection, quarterback Marcus Mariota, had an incredible game, passing 20-of-29 for 268 yards, three touchdowns, one interception, and four sacks for a QBR for 96.6 and rating of 118.2.
Mariota also rushed for one touchdown, virtually doing everything for the Titans as they scored only their third win of the season in 12 games so far.
Meanwhile, the Jets won the latest version of the battle of New York, clipping the Giants, 23-20, in overtime at the MetLife Stadium last Sunday, as per the New York Daily News.
Quarterback Ryan Fitzpatrick led a furious 10-point rally in the fourth quarter to force overtime, then Randy bullock scored a 31-yard field goal in the extension period to win the game for Todd Bowles' crew.
The Jets are anticipated to extend their current winning run to three games against the less experienced Titans.
Prediction: Jets win, 28-17.
