"The Bachelorette" alum Andi Dofrman announced that she and now ex-fiancé Josh Murray have mutually agreed to break up, LA Times reports.
In a joint statement, the couple explained that after months of trying to make their relationship work, they just decided to "go our separate ways."
"We are very sad that it has come to this point, but this is what's best for both of us individually. We will continue to be good friends and have nothing but great things to say about each other and wish each other the best," the couple said.
This has been a shocking news for their fans since it was just days ago when they appeared in a live event before "The Bachelorette" premiere Monday. The two were seen being affectionate with each other during the event. But, when Chris Harrison asked them about their wedding plans, the two relayed vague answers.
Murray told Harrison that they were just excited to relax, settle down and have "fun with each other."
Andy, on the other hand, said that when the planning starts, "there's no stopping," so she wishes to be ready.
Apparently, they are both not ready for any wedding plans. A source told E! News the two were just putting on a show for the cameras. They really showed tension backstage. Fans seem confused with their situation right now. Most of the audience have seen how their relationship grew towards their engagement during the last season of "The Bachelorette." It has also been known that the couple did not really prioritize the wedding.
Another insider told the publication in July 2014 that "Andi is OK with a long engagement. She is in no rush to get married, but she definitely wants to marry Josh."
Unfortunately, their on-camera fairytale wedding is no longer in sight.
