Taylor Swift and Blake Lively recently shared on social media about spending a fun-filled day Down Under.

Taylor Swift took a break from the final leg of her 1989 world tour in Australia to have fun with a new gal pal. Swift's shared images on Instagram showed that the 25-year-old "Shake It Off" singer has found a new BFF in "Gossip Girl" actress Blake Lively as the two enjoyed their girl's day out Down Under over the weekend.

According to Sydney Morning Herald, Lively has been working on her upcoming thriller film "The Shallows" in Queensland, Australia. Lively, who also took a break from her work schedule, was spotted in the crowd of Swift's sold-out show in Brisbane.

On Sunday, Dec.6, Lively and Swift were hanging out at Warner Bros. Movie World in the Gold Coast where they enjoyed some roller coaster rides. Swift posted on her Instagram account taylorswift about her amazing day-off with Lively.

Lively also posted about her fun time with Swift at Paradise Country on Monday, Dec. 7, on her Instagram account blakelively. The 28-year-old "The Age of Adaline" actress shared a selfie image with an eastern grey kangaroo at Paradise Country that got photobombed by Swift.

Meanwhile, People reports that Swift's friendship with Lively will click because they have three things in common. The first thing is Lively and Swift's interest in baking.

Lively made a bee-themed birthday cake for Beyonce while Swift posted on her Twitter account @taylorswift13 back in June that Chef Anne Burrell's chocolate chip cookie recipe became a turning point in her life. Second, Lively and Swift have a distinct fashion style and they are not afraid to flaunt it.

Lastly, Live and Swift have exquisite taste in men. Swift is currently in a relationship with Scottish DJ and record producer Calvin Harris while Lively is a loving wife to actor Ryan Reynolds.
