John Boyega is set to be part of Rian Johnson's upcoming "Star Wars: Episode VIII," as previously confirmed by Lucasfilm President Kathleen Kennedy.
In a special press conference for J.J. Abrams' upcoming "Star Wars: Episode VII - The Force Awakens," Kennedy said that Abrams and Johnson already talked at length, since the latter was about to begin shooting "Star Wars: Episode VIII," Cinema Blend reported.
Lucasfilm's head also added that the cast members beside her, while patting Boyega on the back, were getting ready to head over in January 2016. Boyega plays the role of former Stormtrooper Finn in the film. Along with him and Kennedy were Oscar Isaac, Gwendoline Christie, and Harrison Ford,
