NFL 2015 Season: Washington Redskins vs Chicago Bears, Preview, Prediction & Predicted Lineup

| Dec 09, 2015 05:06 AM EST

Washington Redskins wide receiver DeSean Jackson (R) was sacked by Dallas Cowboys' Brandon Carr.

Mercurial teams Washington Redskins (5-7) and Chicago Bears (5-7) are scheduled to square off at the Soldier Field on Sunday, December 13 for a Week 14 encounter in the 2015 NFL season.

Washington, who had not won any consecutive games all throughout the current season, dropped a sorry 19-16 Monday Night Football game to the undermanned Dallas Cowboys at the FedEx Field, as per USA Today.

Quarterback Kirk Cousins had a decent game, passing 22-of-31 for 219 yards with one touchdown, no interceptions, but was sacked three times, which was not enough to give his team the victory.

Cowboys kicker Dan Bailey's 54-yard field goal with under 10 seconds left sealed the win for Dallas and gave their division rivals one more loss in the standings.

Meanwhile, the Bears are also having a roller-coaster season, losing to the San Francisco 49ers, 26-20, in overtime at their home stadium last Sunday, as reported by Yahoo Sports.

Quarterback Jay Cutler had a poor performance, throwing 18-of-31 for 202 yards, with no touchdowns, one interception, and one sack on the way to the disappointing loss.

With the evident inconsistencies of both teams, it is projected that Washington would win this low-scoring match.

Prediction: Redskins win, 17-10.
