Facebook users in Bogota, Colombia can question CEO Mark Zuckerberg at the international town hall Q&A, according to PC World.

Facebook organized two Q&A sessions in the US and this is the first out of the country event. Topics submitted by netizens online appeared more serious.

A Colombian teenager asked:  "Latin American countries have many problems like socioeconomic inequality, lack of education and violations against free expression. How could Facebook be used as a tool to try to fix [these] problems, working along with the governments of each country?"

The teenagers asked questions that were relevant to the country's current situation. One commenter wanted to know if Facebook can manage a public campaign to dismiss stereotypes for the drug trafficking in Colombia.

Another teenager asked how Facebook can attend to the communication needs in Latin America when the region is experiencing difficulties.

A question from Ecuador was submitted that reads: "A while back you mentioned how important it is for people to learn basic programming and coding. ... Would you consider opening up a series of educational centers across the country ... to focus specifically on those subjects and make it affordable for people?"

Aside from socio-economic related questions, there are inquiries and suggestions about Facebook features, according to Venture Beat.

The recommendation from Florida to put up an "I have read this" button to avoid having the same news on News Feed gained 80 likes. Someone also asked to change the Facebook theme and why the site is in blue instead of orange.

Options to customize their profiles are popular requests along with audio posts to add to the text, photo and video posts. Integration of apps to Facebook was also highly recommended by the users, according to Tech Crunch.

Aside from the online submissions, Zuckerberg will entertain live questions from the audience. The event will happen on Wednesday, Jan. 14 and will be broadcasted online.
