Premier League 2015-2016: Bournemouth vs Manchester United, Preview, Prediction & Predicted Lineup

Struggling team AFC Bournemouth (3-8-4, 13 points) got a slight sigh of relief after snapping its eight-game winless skid last week. They now host perennial contender Manchester United (8-2-5, 29 points) at the Vitality Stadium on December 12th, Saturday as the 2015-2016 Premier League season carries on.

Bournemouth finally won a match after 11 weeks, stunning the defending champions Chelsea with a 1-0 victory at the Stamford Bridge last Saturday, as reported by BBC Sport.

English striker Glenn Murray provided the lone goal for Eddie Howe's side eight minutes before full-time to shock Jose Mourinho and the Blues, snatching the three points from the away match.

The Cherries have not won since their 2-0 win over Sunderland in September and it was extra special coming off the reigning Premier League winners.

Meanwhile, Manchester United missed the chance to take over league leadership as it settled for yet another goalless draw, this time against West Ham United, at the Old Trafford also last Saturday, via SkySports.

It was the Red Devils fourth drawn match in their last six outings, dropping them to fourth place in the overall standings behind Leicester City, Arsenal, and Manchester City. If they had won at least two of those draws, they would be sitting comfortably on top of the league table by now.

The prediction is a 2-0 victory for Manchester United. Louis van Gaal's boys get a break from their underwhelming season amidst high expectations in Greater Manchester this year.

Bournemouth starting lineup (4-1-4-1 formation): Boruc; Daniels, Cook, Francis, Smith; Arter; Gosling, Stanislas, Ritchie, Surman; King

Manchester United starting lineup (4-2-3-1 formation): De Gea; Smalling, Blind, McNair, Darmian; Mata, Lingard; Schweinsteiger, Fellaini, Schneiderlin; Martial
