The Los Angeles Lakers are rumored to be shopping their tradable assets, including one of the team's summer acquisition.

SB Nation outlined the Lakers' best trade chips, which includes reigning sixth man of the year Lou Williams.

According to the report, the Lakers could devise a deal that will send Williams back to the Atlanta Hawks, where he could fit as the solution for the team's frontcourt logjam.

"The Hawks have a logjam in the frontcourt and could part with one of their backup bigs to bring Williams back," the report disclosed.

Williams was acquired by LA this summer in an attempt to inject a scorer off the bench, signing a three-year $21 million contract. But amid LA's potentially doomed season, Williams has been also a shell of himself.

Williams is averaging 13.3 points for the Lakers, but has only made 39.1 percent of his field goal attempts, including 32.9 from the three-point area.

However, Williams could still be a viable option for Mike Budenholzer's playbook. Moreover, Williams could once again serve as a decent ball-handler off the bench.

The trade proposal for the Lakers indicated that the Hawks could give up one of their backup big men. But it would not make sense for the Lakers to acquire another power forward or center as the four-spot is already full in LA.

Los Angeles could instead acquire Thabo Sefolosha and Mike Scott in the deal as approved by Real GM trade checker, or some future draft picks essential for LA's rebuild.

With the way things are going in Tinseltown, the Lakers are likely to deal their tradable players and Lou Williams is a potential trade candidate.
