Hollywood legend Jeff Goldblum is expecting his first baby with his wife, Emilie Livingston, who is almost half his age.

The "Independence Day" star broke this happy news while on the show "The Late Show with David Letterman", which was received with many cheers from the crowd. They have dated for about three years before getting married and are now intent on expanding their family. It would be the first child for Jeff, despite being married twice before.

The couple has recently tied the knot at Chateau Marmont and Livingston reportedly has been expecting since before they got married. The star also announced that it is going to be a baby boy for the couple.

Livingston is a former Canadian Olympian and his doting husband is obviously very proud of that fact. He asked his three-months-old pregnant wife to show off her flexibility skills on the Letterman Show in front of the camera. A normal three-month pregnant lady would have shyly refused, but the professional Livingston took up the challenge, shook hands with the host and very easily and effortlessly lifted her leg above her head.

Besides being a sportswoman, Livingston was last seen doing a cameo in Justin Beiber's "Beauty and the Beat" music video.

Goldblum has never fathered a child before, not even when he was married for six years to Patricia Gaul in the 1980's and also with his next wife, Geena Davis, to whom he was married for three years. He will be seen in Johnny Depp's "Mordechai" in January 2015.
