'The Witcher 3: Blood and Wine' DLC Release In 2016; New Gigantic Exploration Land, Gameplay Underway

Witcher 3: Blood and Wine is an action role-playing video game set in an open world environment, developed by CD Projekt RED.

"The Witcher 3: Blood and Wine" is about to roll out following the announcement during the recent 2015 Game Awards. The game garnered the award for "Game of the Year."

"The Witcher 3: Wild Hunt" game developer CD Projeckt Red has revealed to GameSpot  the official images for the game's expansion pack that was initially tweeted. CD Projeckt Red showed all the colorful Toussaint which the players can enjoy as they play, PlayStation Lifestyle reported.  While CD Projekt Red is yet to release the specific details on its content, it stated that it is going to bring Geralt to a place free from war and with an ambience of carefree indulgence.

New enemies, gears as well as old and new characters are expected to come with "The Witcher 3: Blood and Wine." DirectX12 and other gameplay changes are also coming.  

"The Witcher 3: Blood and Wine," the latest expansion pack, will provide a maximum of 20 hours of playing time, not like the previous contents. Further, the content will not be available for free.

There is still no specific date of release yet for "The Witcher 3: Blood and Wine" but it has been said that it will happen in 2016. The fans will have to be satisfied for now by enjoying the lovely sceneries being showcased in the unveiled photos.

"The Witcher 3: Blood and Wine," the second game expansion for "The Witcher 3" series is already underway as confirmed the Konrad Tomszkiewicz, the game's director, and he assures the fans of a gigantic new land of exploration, which is far different from the "Hearts of Stone" or "Wild Hunt."
