There are speculations that Daenerys may die in a war in Westeros in the upcoming "Winds of Winter."
"Winds of Winter" spoilers indicate that there is a brewing brutal civil war and it is bound to bring blood and mayhem to Westeros. Some reports also indicate that it may be a three-way civil war.
According to iDigital Times, the delayed "Winds of Winter" book will have a major chunk, which will focus on the Westeros civil war and how it will shape up the future destiny of the region.
The "Game of Thrones" author George R. R. Martin also teased the fans numerous times that he has planned many twists and surprises in the upcoming book, which will shock the reader.
Meanwhile, there is no confirmed release date as yet on the cards for "Winds of Winter." Some reports indicate that the manuscript may finish by Feb. 23, 2016 though others indicate that it is not feasible.
Earlier, there were very optimistic reports that the manuscript has already been finished and the Polish translations are currently been done. These reports also said that the book may release by Christmas 2015. However, in light of the other reports about the manuscript still being incomplete, it seems unlikely that the book will release in 2015.
HBO had also pushed back the airdate of "Game of Thrones" Season 6 in order to allow Martin some more time to finish the book, according to News.com.au. However, it seems unlikely that "Winds of Winter" release will happen before the "Game of Thrones" Season 6 premiere date, much to the disappointment of the fans.
