Candy Crush Saga, which has conquered the hearts of millions of people, is still dominating the mobile chart in 2014. In fact, it is the most downloaded app game on Google Play in 2014, making it the most popular mobile and video game on the globe.

King.com, the popular game's developer, revealed how they have managed to succeed despite the competitions. Since most mobile games experience a period of extreme popularity, then a tremendous downfall, King.com did not waste time on working on the game's sequel "Candy Crush Soda Saga" while the first version is still hitting the charts.

Through the Business Insider, Sebastian Knutsson, the developer's CCO explained the differences between the former version and the newest one. For one, "Our first iteration had a humorous French accent, which most players hate very much. So, we modified it into a classic voice. We think the current narration works a lot better."

Knutsson has described the newest game as similar to their original, but with special and unique twists to bring more excitement. The CCO explained that the newest game is n'ot a replacement of the older version. He added, the success of "Candy Crush Saga" is the outcome of their match-three game's best elements.

During the interview, Knutsson said, "The 2011 Facebook success prompted us to rebuild and conquer the mobile world. From then on, we have invested time and energy in developing games that can work across several platforms."

"Candy Crush Saga" is, until today, King's most famous game. It has been downloaded more than 500 million times since its launch in 2012, gathering 150 billion players across the globe.
