Universe Continues To Die: Disappearing Energy Remains To Confirm Universe's Death

Scientists confirmed that universe is slowly dying

Astronomers had released a study confirming that the universe is dying.

By mapping 200,000 galaxies, astronomers had discovered that the energy that is produced since the beginning of the universe turned out to be merely half. They are disappearing gradually, Physics-Astronomy reported.

This disappearing of energy continues, as scientists had gathered data from the seven of the most powerful scopes in the world, the report said.

This energy disappearing is happening across all light wavelengths which is from the ultraviolet to infrared, the report added.

Australia's International Center for Radio Astronomy Research professor and study head Simon Driver said that the universe is to decline and die. "The universe has basically plonked itself down on the sofa, pulled up a blanket and is about to nod off for an eternal doze," Driver said in the report.

The powerful telescopes that were used to gather data include NASA's GALEX, WISE, VIST and the VST at Paranal Observatory in Chile and the Herschel telescope in European Space Agency. These scopes were used to map the history of universe's energy, the Daily Mail reported

While the energy-making is gradually fading, according to the report, Driver said that additional energy is being released by stars as these stars fuse helium and hydrogen together, the report said.
