'Super Smash Bros 4' DLC Update: Will Shovel Knight Get His Own Amiibo? Dixie Kong, Ridley, King K. Rool, Inklings And Issac Joining Game?

Nintendo has confirmed that the next Super Smash Bros. 4 DLC character is Cloud Strife.

There are rumors that in the upcoming "Super Smash Bros 4" DLC, Shovel Knight may get his own mmiibo. Dixie Kong, Ridley, King K. Rool, Inklings and Issac may also soon join the game.

It is reported that Nintendo is going to make a huge announcement on Dec. 15, regarding "Super Smash Bros 4" DLC. The company was a little secretive about the upcoming game till now. It is rumored that the game development studio is planning some big things for the popular brawler game.

Nintendo earlier confirmed the inclusion of "Final Fantasy 7" main character Cloud Strife to the upcoming DLC of "Super Smash Bros 4." Since this revelation, the fans are eagerly waiting for the company to reveal more about the abilities of this character. It seems like the fans will finally get know everything about Cloud Strife come Dec. 15.  

It is heavily speculated that in the special "Super Smash Bros. 4" live stream event, Cloud Strife will be officially added to the game, according to Japanese website Famitsu. It is this, or Nintendo will announce the official date of the character's addition to the DLC of "Super Smash Bros 4."

It is further expected that there will also be the addition of new stages to match the arrival of Cloud Strife to the game. The new locations will match the new character's actual locations from his source game, which is "Final Fantasy 7," according to Source Gaming.

Nintendo is expected to use this event to reveal the various universes which will be added in the upcoming DLC.

In April, Nintendo launched an event called the "Fighters Ballot," and urged fans to vote for their favorite character which could be included in "Super Smash Bros. 4." The event was recently wrapped up, which points towards the fact that the ballot was successful.

The live streaming will be done via the Nintendo Direct, 2 pm onwards.
