"Crouching Tiger, Hidden Dragon" star Zhang Ziyi reprised her role in John Woo’s “The Crossing 2” with Japanese actors Takeshi Kaneshiro and Masami Nagasawa.

At 35, Zhang Ziyi is now thinking of retiring from her serious action roles so that she would not injure herself and affect her ability to have kids in the future. The actress is also said to be thinking of settling down already.

Her relationship with Chinese singer Wang Feng was revealed only recently, but the Taiwanese actress is already said to be seriously contemplating the idea of marrying soon.

The international star had announced that she is already hoping to get married as "she is not young anymore." To prepare for that big day when she becomes a wife and a mom, she is determined to retire from acting, at least from action films.

The actress herself confirmed that her current movie, "The Grandmaster," would be her last action film.

"I'm turning 36 this year. I'm afraid of sustaining more injuries," she admitted during the public screening of "The Grandmaster 3D" on Jan. 8, 2015.

"After all, I'm a woman who wants to have kids and set up a family in the future. I have to think a little more for myself!"

The actress explained in a recent interview that because of her commitment to her roles, she cannot help but sustain injuries when acting. She said she usually gives her all when it comes to portraying a role that her physical limits are often surpassed. She attributes this to her "strong sense of responsibility."

Her hard work for "The Grandmaster" truly paid off. It has been reported that her performance for her role as Gong Er, the heroine of this movie, enabled her to garner 12 different best actress awards.
