The new update will bring more advanced controller settings to include modes, maps and weapons.

Sometime next week, "Halo 5: Guardians" should acquire a new DLC update through its "The Cartographer's Gift." The new update will bring more advanced controller settings to include modes, maps and weapons.

As posted in Halo Waypoint, developer 343 Industries states that next week's DLC will provide more selections in the "Controller Menu," allowing players to personalize their shooting and aiming expertise.

The latest update will particularly feature new personalized settings for Outer Dead Zone, Inner Dead Zone and Look Acceleration. Said functions will still remain on default just like what has been utilized antecedently; however, players can alter the functions based on their selected options like on the pause menu.

According to 343 Industries, if the parameters aren't altered, the game will play similarly just like it should. But for gamers who wish a better aiming experience, the parameters will furnish more fine-tuned controls, which should adjust the game to specified controller hardware as well as personal selections.

For the Look Acceleration, gamers can enhance the speed for its Multiplayer Beta; however, the biggest teases are on the controller menu options of Outer and Inner Dead Zone. For the Outer Dead Zone, players can increase and respond to a perfect controller input, which makes it faster. When gamers personalize the Inner Dead Zone, they prevent the issue of drifting even when the look stick is not held.

To enable a gamer to master the features, 343 Industries suggest that gamers experiment the settings to know which should work for them. The control setting features shall be packaged with the upcoming "The Cartographer's Gift" DLC, which should be out anytime next week.

The latest release of "Halo 5: Guardians" should work exclusively for Xbox One consoles.
