"Super Smash Bros." DLC final plans for the coming downloadable content on Wii U and Nintendo 3DS have already been confirmed by creator Masahiro Sakurai.
"Super Smash Bros." creator said in an interview which was published in a book honoring the 25th anniversary of the franchise, a lot of interesting information regarding the continuous fighting game emerged. Among these was the news that a DLC support for the current iterations of the game series is about to end soon, IGN reported.
The news appears to be in line with the reports that the following Nintendo Direct devoted to the fighting game series is going to be the final one for the recent couple of games, which means those who hoped for the favorite "Super Smash Bros." mascots do not have to wait long. As confirmed by Sakurai, it is going to be their final chance too.
There are a lot of interesting areas considered for the inclusion of Robin and Lucina for the playable characters in "Super Smash Bro." According to the creator, he did not think of adding the protagonist as something necessary for the following Fire Emblem game since they are not sure if there is a chance for the next" Super Smash Bros."
"Super Smash Bro." fans may have to wait about what is in store for the game. For now, the only known detail is the inclusion on the next or probably the last set of add-ons of "Final Fantasy 7's" Cloud Strife, and if rumors are true, "Shovel Knight" might also be joining this batch, GameRant shared.
