"I was such a kid, I was 22 when we met," said Paltrow who met Pitt on the set of the 1995 film "Seven." "I definitely fell in love with him. He was so gorgeous and sweet. I mean, he was Brad Pitt!"

Paltrow also talked about her former boyfriend Ben Affleck, who is now married to Jennifer Garner.

"He was not in a good place in his life to have a girlfriend," Paltrow said of the "Gone Girl" actor.

In 2014, "Gone Girl" was one of the top-grossing films. The David Fincher film starred Affleck with the upcoming 2015 Academy Awards host Neil Patrick Harris and Rosamund Pike, who told Indie Wire she had not read Gillian Flynn's 2012 novel before talking to the director."

"If I had read the book, as an actress, you might have thought, 'Oh, I wonder if they're going to make this into a movie?' And then I might have been hungry for it," explained Pike, who starred in "Pride and Prejudice," "Wrath of the Titans" and "Jack Reacher" before "Gone Girl."
