"Fear the Walking Dead" season 1 cast member Mercedes Mason recently said that she wants to see "Walking Dead" star Norman Reedus crossover to the new show.
In an interview with BT, the actress who plays the role of Ofelia Salazar said that she wants to work with Reedus on "Fear the Walking Dead" season 2.
"Daryl Dixon. I think that would be cool. All our characters are starting to understand what is happening in the world, but they are still very naïve to things, so to bring another alpha male into the show that is world weary would be fantastic," she said.
When asked which female character she wants to see on "Fear the Walking Dead," the 33-year-old actress said that she would be happy to work with Melissa McBride's character Carol.
"Even a strong woman like Carol would be a good addition to the series," she said.
Meanwhile, according to Deadline, a crossover between the two shows won't happen any time soon.
"Fear the Walking Dead" executive producer Gale Anne Hurd previously said that a crossover wouldn't be a good move for the two shows just yet because "Fear the Walking Dead" is still establishing its fan base.
Hurd added that the new show is closely related to "The Walking Dead," and they somehow want fans to see both separately.
"Our group of survivors in 'The Walking Dead' hasn't even made it as far as Washington D.C. yet, in six seasons, and they are not that far away. So for the 'Fear' characters to make it across the country? For what? I mean why would you go there?" she said.
"Fear the Walking Dead" season 2 will premiere on AMC sometime next year.
