Apple Inc. unleashed a 13-inch MacBook Air with Retina display early this year, but there are possibilities of a new version hitting the market sometime in March 2016. MacBook Pro 2016 will be launched later in June.

According to Apple, the current model of MacBook Air was released on March 9 this year. As a result, it is rational for the next iteration of the Air to release in spring next year. However, other rumors indicate that the new MacBook Air might make its appearance during the World Developer Conference that takes place every mid-year.

With regard to the specs, it is rumored that the upcoming laptop will sport minor changes to its aesthetics, and it will maintain its famous design like the current MacBook Air. The upcoming MacBook Air 2016 might come with a 12-inch Retina display plus a powerful Intel Skylake processor, which can bring improved graphics, battery life, and RAM.

The developer company might as well incorporate Force Touch technology to the latest Air laptop, according to Australia News Network.

MacBook Air 2016 is also rumored to come with an 8GB/16GB 1600MHz LPDDR3 and Intel HD Graphics 5300. The laptop might further be supported by a 512GB PCIe-based flash storage. The gadget will sport USB Type-C support with the ability to run the latest Apple's El Captain Operating System.

After the release of MacBook Air 2016, MacBook Pro's latest flagship will soon follow in retail stores. It is speculated that Apple will launch the Pro 2016 by June 2016.
