"Cake" star Jennifer Aniston, 45, has nothing but praises for "Unbroken," which was directed by Angelina Jolie, 39, the wife of her former husband Brad Pitt, 51.
Speaking to Entertainment Tonight on Jan. 16, Friday, Aniston said described "Unbroken" as a "beautiful and wonderful" movie and said Jolie did "such a gorgeous job."
"I think it's time people stop with that petty B.S. and start celebrating great work and stop with the petty kind of silliness," Aniston added referring to the rumors that she and Jolie are still having a feud. "It's just tiresome and old. It's like an old leather shoe."
In 2005, Aniston and Pitt split after five years of marriage. In the same year, Pitt met Jolie on the set of the film "Mr. & Mrs. Smith," which was directed by Doug Liman and written by Simon Kinberg.
In 2006, Jolie told Vogue that she fell and Pitt fell for each other during the filming of "Mr. & Mrs. Smith."
Recently, Aniston was nominated by the 2015 Golden Globes for Best Actress for her performance in "Cake" but lost to "Still Alice" actress Julianne Moore.
Aniston was not nominated by the 2015 Academy Awards for her "Cake" performance while her fellow Golden Globes Best Actress nominees "Wild" actress Reese Witherspoon, "Gone Girl" star Rosamund Pike, "The Theory Of Everything" star Felicity Jones and Moore were up for the award along with "Birdman" star Emma Stone and "Two Days, One Night" star Marion Cotillard.
Like Aniston, Jolie was also snubbed by the 2015 Oscars. The Academy Awards was accused of being sexist for not nominating Jolie and "Selma" director Ava Duvernay as the list of the Best Director nominees comprises male directors only.
