It appears that fans of Miss Colombia Ariadna Gutierrez were not happy about how Miss USA Olivia Jordan supported Miss Universe 2015 Pia Alonzo Wurtzbach during her controversial crowning moment involving Steve Harvey's wrong announcement of winner.
On Dec. 23, Wednesday, Jordan took to Instagram to share a picture message that says, "SPREAD LOVE EVERYWHERE YOU GO LET NO ONE EVER COME TO YOU WITHOUT LEAVING HAPPIER."
In the lengthy caption, Jordan explained that she is deeply saddened at how many people choose to be negative and hateful on social media and she is used to having people throw shade her way. However, she said people are now threatening her family, who for her are "literally the most kind-hearted people on the planet" and "have nothing to do with any of this and deserve to be left alone."
Jordan also clarified that she did not laugh at anyone in the Miss Universe 2015 beauty pageant. For her, she reacted to "an uncomfortable and bizarre situation by seeing the positive."
"If I had been standing next to Miss Colombia I would have grabbed her and cried for her and the injustice that occurred," Jordan pointed out. "Instead, I was standing next to the winner and had the bizarre opportunity to tell her that she was the new Miss Universe. I wasn't going to cry as I congratulated Pia. She deserved happiness and celebration for her victory."
According to Jordan, she hugged Gutierrez immediately after she exited the stage and told her what she truly believes, which is she has bigger things in store and the Universe has a bigger plan for her.
In conclusion, Jordan asked her bashers to stop threatening her family and she is not going to kill as they tell her several times. She said she is very sad for the bashers who can even write such terrible things to another person but thanked all her incredible supporters throughout the situation.
In an interview with Us Weekly, celebrity blogger Perez Hilton revealed that he and his Miss Universe 2015 judges Niecy Nash, Olivia Culpo and Emmitt Smith were shocked when Gutierrez was erroneously announced as the winner.
Wurtzbach also told Entertainment Tonight that minutes when she was crowned Miss Universe 2015, she had to ask her manager many times if she really won as she was worried they may take the crown from her, as well.
