Mass Effect: Andromeda is an upcoming action role-playing third-person shooter video game developed by BioWare and published by Electronic Arts for Microsoft Windows, PlayStation 4 and Xbox One.

"Mass Effect: Andromeda" may be hitting the targeted release date in 2017, given the fact that someone from the development team took the liberty of playing a small content of the game.

The "Mass Effect: Andromeda" game was posted on Twitter to have been played after Jos Hendriks, EA's technology designer, tweeted his excitement. Hendriks, however, made it clear that what he played was just the part which he had worked on and denies any knowledge about the entire context of the game.

Hendriks' post caused the surge of questioning from EA and most especially from the "Mass Andromeda" fans. Although he was prohibited from disclosing much information about the mechanics or the plot of the game, the designer hinted about an expansion on some elements of the soon to be released game. These information turned out to be proofs of what were already known to the fans.

EA stated earlier that "Mass Effect: Andromeda" will likely be available before the 2017 fiscal year ends, which also means that it will be out prior to March 31, 2018.  In terms of promotion, the information also implied that the game will have to be released together with a major game trailer when the gaming convention E3 2016 takes place, Gaming Bolt reported.

The "Mass Effect" game is said to involve the fans of this original trilogy while getting the attention of the new batch of gamers through exploration in a different galaxy. EA has also emphasized that this exploration will definitely be one of the major themes of the game.

"Mass Effect: Andromeda" is expected to be available on Xbox One, PS4 consoles and PC platform as well, Express reported.
