At the 2015 Critics' Choice Awards, "Cake" star Jennifer Aniston, 45, was seated three tables away from "Unbroken" director Angelina Jolie, 39. They have not been in the same event since the 2009 Academy Awards, Daly Mail reported.
While Aniston was joined by her fiance Justin Theroux, 43, Jolie was not seen with her husband Brad Pitt.
Jolie was nominated for Best Director along with "The Grand Budapest Hotel" director Wes Anderson, "Selma" director Ava DuVernay, "Gone Girl: director David Fincher, "Birdman" director Alejandro G. Inarritu and "Boyhood" director Richard Linklater, who won the award.
On the other hand, Aniston was nominated for Best Actress along with "Wild" actress Reese Witherspoon, "Gone Girl" actress Rosamund Pike, "The Theory of Everything " actress Felicity Jones, "Two Days, One Night" actress Marion Cotillard and "Still Alice" actress Julianne Moore, who won the award.
On Oct. 17, 2014, Aniston's "Cake" co-star Misty Upham was confirmed dead by the King County Medical Examiner's office, USA Today reported.
The Upham family took to Facebook to deny the allegation that the actress known for her roles in "August: Osage County," "Frozen River" and "Django Unchanged" committed suicide.
"We believe that Misty's death was accidental. She did not commit suicide. We believe she ran into the wooded area behind her apartment to hide from the police," they wrote in an "Official Upham Family Press Release" posted on Misty Upham's Facebook page.
On the other hand, Auburn Police Commander Steve Stocker asserted that investigators took Upham's disappearance seriously and that they did everything they could in this case.
